As Alberta begins to ease COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, men have started emerging from their homes sporting freshly-grown furry faces.

Post-secondary students have faced academic disruptions, job losses and increasing financial stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a new Statistics Canada survey has revealed. 

Burnt Toast Studio, a not-for-profit artist collective that supports emerging artists in Calgary, is continuing to do so during the pandemic — with a #stayhome twist. 

The Alberta government is allowing restaurants to open for dine-in service in phase one of the economic relaunch as early as May 25, after being closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but a seeming majority of restaurants throughout Calgary have decided to remain closed to the public, while a handful will be opening as soon as possible.
