Mount Royal University poised to leave ACAC; SAIT men's team looks at future without Cougars

But in Ken Babey's 25 years of coaching SAIT men's hockey, no bigger change came when Mount Royal University decided that its teams were leaving the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, or ACAC.

High school basketball tournament brings in top talent from across Canada

IMG 4922The Notre Dame Invitational got underway Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Notre Dame high school for the sixth time since its inception in 2007. This year's edition features the toughest competition to date, with 10 top-ranked teams in attendance, stemming from six provinces across Canada.

speedskating23Calgary hosted the 2012 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships on January 28 and 29 at the Olympic Oval.

The best from around the world competed at the event including Canadian superstars Christine Nesbitt and Denny Morrison.
