Hit '70s band Journey performs for fans of all ages
With all the changes that have happened to hit '70s band Journey and its members throughout the years, fans questioned whether or not they would enjoy the bands new sound compared to the old.
Fans of all ages filled the seats of the sold out show held at the Scotiabank Saddledome last Sunday to see if the band could deliver the same as back in the day.

Rock of Ages has rocked Calgary and is rolling on to Edmonton
The smash hit musical Rock of Ages recently made its debut in Calgary following the failure of the silver screen adaptation that hit theaters this past June.
Rock of Ages first premiered on Broadway in 2009 – grossing over $84 million and selling almost one million seats, according to broadwayworld.com.

Jonny Linton hopes competition will help him cultivate new skills
Taking part in his third dance competition, 17-year-old Jonny Linton, won the popping category in the fifth annual One Touch hip-hop competition in February.
With another contest on its way, the dancer will compete at the Calgary Battlezone Vol. 1, Calgary's first all-ages popping competition.

Calgary punk band releases fourth album
Local punk band Oh Shit celebrated their fourth album this past Saturday with a roaring crowd of rockers, metal heads, beer drinkers, and music lovers enjoying the material from the band's fourth album.
"The feeling of warmness, relating on a higher level, above my band or myself is why I love to plays music," drummer Mark Russell said.
